Day-wise Itinerary
- Day 1: Haridwar/Rishikesh → Govindghat via Joshimath
Report at Haridwar Railway Station at 6:30 AM or Rishikesh ISBT at 7:30 AM, where you'll meet the team. After a short briefing, begin your scenic 300 km drive (approx. 10 hours) to Govindghat (6,300 ft) via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, and Joshimath. Enjoy breathtaking Himalayan views throughout the journey before checking into your hotel for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day 2: Govindghat to Ghangaria | Into the Heart of the Himalayas
Start your day with breakfast at 7:00 AM, followed by a short drive to Poolna. Begin your 13 km trek (5–6 hours) to Ghangaria (9,600 ft), walking alongside the Lakshman Ganga River through lush forests, waterfalls, and picturesque mountain trails. Reach Ghangaria by evening, check into your hotel, and enjoy dinner.
- Day 3: Valley of Flowers | Explore Nature's Paradise
After breakfast at 6:30 AM, begin your trek at 7:30 AM towards the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Valley of Flowers. Cover 4 km one way (6–7 hours) to reach an altitude of 11,500 ft, where you'll witness vibrant alpine flowers, stunning landscapes, and crystal-clear streams. Return to Ghangaria by evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day 4: Hemkund Sahib | A Spiritual Himalayan Trek
Enjoy an early breakfast at 5:30 AM and begin your trek at 6:00 AM towards the sacred Hemkund Sahib. Cover 6 km one way (9–10 hours) to reach 14,107 ft, visit the Gurudwara and the beautiful glacial lake, and then descend back to Ghangaria for dinner and an overnight stay.
- Day 5: Ghangaria to Govindghat | Descending Back
After breakfast at 7:00 AM, begin your 13 km descent (4–5 hours) to Poolna. From there, drive back to Govindghat, check into your hotel, and spend the evening relaxing after completing your trekking adventure.
- Day 6: Govindghat to Haridwar/Rishikesh | Journey Back Home
Have breakfast at 7:00 AM and depart by 8:00 AM for your return journey. Travel 300 km (approx. 10 hours) back to Rishikesh and Haridwar, marking the end of an unforgettable Valley of Flowers & Hemkund Sahib Trek with beautiful memories of the Himalayas.
