1.1 Refund Eligibility: Refunds are applicable only for bookings canceled within the specified cancellation periods. Refund requests must be made in writing via email or our official channels.
1.2 Non-Refundable Services: Certain services such as flight tickets, visa fees, travel insurance, and permits are strictly non-refundable once booked.
1.3 Processing Time: All approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days from the date of cancellation confirmation.
1.4 Mode of Refund: Refunds will be made through the original mode of payment (bank transfer, card, or online gateway). Processing fees charged by banks or payment gateways are non-refundable.

2.2 Cancellation by TrekkingMantra: If we cancel a trip due to weather conditions, low group size, government restrictions, or unforeseen circumstances, customers will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule without extra charges.
3.1 Early Departure: If a customer leaves the trip voluntarily after it has started, no refund will be issued for unused services.
3.2 Trip Alterations: In case of itinerary changes caused by natural disasters, strikes, or safety concerns, partial refunds or service adjustments may be offered at TrekkingMantra’s discretion.
3.3 Group Discounts: If a group booking is partially canceled, any discounts applied may be withdrawn, and the refund will be adjusted accordingly.
4.1 Force Majeure: Refunds are not applicable for cancellations due to force majeure events such as natural calamities, war, pandemics, or government restrictions. However, customers may be offered credits for future trips.
4.2 Last-Minute Bookings: Bookings made within 7 days of departure are non-refundable, except if TrekkingMantra cancels the trip.
4.3 Health and Safety: If a participant is deemed unfit to continue due to medical reasons, no refund will be issued. We strongly recommend travel insurance for such cases.
5.1 Accommodation Upgrades: Refunds for upgraded hotels or rooms are subject to the policies of the respective accommodation provider.
5.2 Transportation Services: Refunds for additional transport services like private vehicles or airport pickups are subject to availability and provider terms.
5.3 Adventure Activities: Optional activities such as rafting, paragliding, or safaris are non-refundable once booked.
6.1 Request Submission: Customers must email refund requests to [email protected] with booking details and cancellation proof.
6.2 Verification: All refund claims will be verified against our records and eligibility before approval.
6.3 Communication: Customers will receive an official confirmation email once the refund process is initiated.
7.1 Secure Transactions: All refund-related transactions are processed through secure banking systems to protect customer data.
7.2 Confidentiality: Customer payment details are kept confidential and are not shared with third parties, except for authorized payment processors.
7.3 Fraud Prevention: We reserve the right to decline refund requests if fraudulent activity or misrepresentation is suspected.
8.1 Governing Law: All refund and cancellation policies are governed by Indian law under the jurisdiction of Mumbai courts.
8.2 Dispute Handling: Any refund-related disputes will first be addressed through direct communication, followed by mediation or arbitration if necessary.
8.3 Limitation Period: Refund claims must be submitted within 30 days from the scheduled departure date.
